Buffet in oak and veneer
Beluga
History
A true restoration and refurbishment challenge! A lot of love has led to this amazing transformation: a sideboard full of personality that stands out with its “driftwood” color resulting mainly from the natural grain of the wood. Details, such as the white porcelain handles, fabric alcove upholstery, and drawer sides add to the strong personality of this piece. More than a storage unit, Beluga is a work in itself.
Re-creation Process
Stripping by soda blasting, primer, driftwood treatment layering Volcano paint and Chaton Gray glaze and Mist accent. Varnish for the top. Cabinet base in laminated fabric and with thermoplastic shelves. Transfers for the inside of the door and the sides of the drawer. New knobs from an end of product line.
Maintenance
• Dust once a week with a soft cloth.
• If needed, wash with a cloth dampened with a solution of equal parts mild soap such as dish soap and water.
