(Martini's big sister)
Manhattan
History
This magnificent piece in walnut veneer, made by a cabinetmaker in the 1970s, was originally a wall module that was reworked into a sideboard. The sliding panels are reversible, allowing more or less vintage configurations, depending on the mood of the day!
Re-creation process
Stripping with soda blasting, Secondo natural oil from Prato-Verde for finishing treatment. Double-sided sliding panels, with one side oiled and the other finished with a vintage patterned fabric. The interior back pannel of the cabinet is covered with wallpaper. Solid walnut legs have been added.
