History
Here is Victor, a vintage radio with an Art Deco design updated and transformed into a Hi-Fi Bluetooth 5.0 speaker. The warm sound results from the wood box itself as well as the electronic components that have been added to it. (see details in re-creation process).
Re-creation process
The furniture: stripped by soda blasting, wood treated with Secondo natural oil from Prato Verde, enclosure covered with varnished fabric.
Conversion into a Bluetooth speaker: amplification components Dayton Audio KAB-2150 2 x 150 W Class D Bluetooth 5.0, Kenwood Coaxial Speakers, Rear switch with fuse to protect the electronic components from external overvoltage, bass and treble volume control on the front, bluetooth reboot control button allowing you to reconnect a new device.
Maintenance
• Dust once a week with a soft cloth or with the recycled fleece mitten provided with the item.
• If needed, wash with a cloth dampened with an equal part solution of mild soap such as dish soap and water, wipe with the recycled fleece mitten.Re-apply natural oil yearly to nourish the wood.
